MIUI Life is a MIUI Gingerbread port to Samsung Galaxy Ace, the rom is very fast and stable, probably on the list of fastest roms for galaxy ace! Constant updates to never let the rom "die" unlike all gb rom for miu is still in development and active support
SOME USEFUL TIPS:
- If you are having randons and non reported bugs, try to flash cm7 and after this one
- Select custom ringtone from MIUI Music app
- Hold home button on lockscreen to activate torch
- Double touch on lockscreen center to activate music lockscreen
- I recomend you to use FlyOnMod Script for muuuch more performance
- If you want the black status bar from SS download it HERE place on sdcard/miui/themes and in theme manager to to cust > status bar.
- the rom becomes more stable after a few reboots
- to fix the call screen late bug just go to settings>programs>Call Settings>Answer Settings and DISABLE Enforce Proximity Sensor

the launcher show as outdated because this is the 2.4.20 miui, the most recent are 3.x.xx (don't know exactly number) wich is miui v5 (not ported yet, and i don't know if is possible), the lockscreen size will never be redimensioned like milocker because this is isn't possible (not made for it), milocker resizes the locker because are made to run on any device with any screen size... you can download only the locker (google milocker) if you want or search for mdpi miui lockscreens... but the milocker consumes more ram but if that is not a problem for you is the best option :)
ResponderExcluirhey, nice ROM and i'm using it right now. i have little bugs to report here, sometimes when i open application like browser etc, my phone frezzed and restarting. and then, i have some glitch on toggles bar, sometimes the buttons doesn't work at all, and need to restart.

Excluiroi ....estou com a tua V5...mudei o kernel para firekernel 09.10.12 com cpu min 245 max 883 e a ROM até voa...tâo rapida que esta....espero testar a V6 em breve.....obrigado.

ResponderExcluirjust go to miui music app select the music and set as ringtone (something like that) ... dont use the theme manager to select ringtones, it wont work, use the miui music

Excluirrom perfeita, apenas um problema, eu instalei o gapps, mas mesmo assim não aparece o google play, nem mesmo da pra adicionar alguma conta. Alguma solução?
ResponderExcluirMe he encontrado con esta rom por casualidad y me encanta, vengo de probar un montón y esta se lleva la palma, la recomiendo absolutamente!. Lo único el poco de lag en la pantalla de desbloqueo y en los menús de ajustes, por lo demás realmente bien, no presenta bugs, es muy muy estable, la RAM y la batería están superoptimizadas, la interface MIUI es preciosa, la cámara en modo vio permite zoom (cosa inaudita en un galaxy ace), permite partición de SD, en fin, perfecta. Ya espero con ansias la próxima actualización. FELICIDADES!
ResponderExcluirI would like to know when there will be the release of v7. I have random reboots with v5 and v6 both. Now i use v5 Which Gives me less random reboots. Thank you so much for this wonderful rom.
